The Early Learning
Fun School APRIL 2008 Spring is here! We are excited to see all of the bulbs popping out of the
ground. A few of the classes, with the help of Mr. Seely, planted new bulbs in
the fall and we are very excited to see their hard work displayed. Just in time
for April! Our topics this month include plants, lifecycles, auditory memory,
rhyming, and dinosaurs. Our letters are J, C, & O. Evaluations will be handed out at the end of the month. Please let your teacher know if you have any questions or concerns. Thursday, May 1st is Camp ELF sign up. It will begin at 11:30am and is first come, first serve with only 36 spaces available. Camp will be on Monday, June 2 thru Thursday, June 5th from 9:30am to 12:30 pm and the cost is $95. Your child needs to bring a lunch and we will let you know about water day. ELF camp is a fun-filled adventure. If you are thinking of signing up, remember that your child will not have his/her regular teacher. There are different activities and different teachers each day. It’s always a lot of fun!! Thank you to Mrs. Clayton’s class for the fun puppet show that they performed for their parents. They did a wonderful job!! Thank you to all of the” egg stuffers” and “egg hider’s” for the spring parties. The children had a great time! Did you like the ceramic eggs?! The end of the year is approaching. As you can see there are a lot of important dates! Please mark your calendars so you do not miss out on anything. Please plan on attending the Mother’s Day Tea and graduation. Every class is involved in graduation and this year our theme revolves around “Dinosaurs/Flintstones”. Mrs. Lovett is already working on a costume for the children, Mrs. Owen and Mrs. Clayton are brainstorming about decorations, and songs have been selected. At the beginning of May we will have more information. Here are the dates for your graduation: |
