ELF School Newsletter!
HAPPY NEW YEAR-JANUARY 2001
Snow-Wind-Ice-and it's just now January! Be sure and listen to those radios and watch the T.V. for school closings.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday. We are back at Elf and
ready for new and exciting months ahead. In the month of January, we will be focusing on community helpers, transportation, sequencing, and 1-1
correspondence. Our letters for the month are L, D, & G. We would love to
have some guest speakers this month. If there is a parent who works in the
community and would like to share their experiences, please let us know. The kids would love it!
We are planning a field trip (weather permitting) to the Germantown Library on Tues./30th and Wed./31st.
Registration for 2001/2002 is now! Registration forms
are available for download on the web site. Registration forms may also be picked up in the
office. Please spread the word to friends and neighbors who you think would like to share in the Elf
experience. We hope to see many of you again next year!
Many, many thanks in the month of December! Thank you to our main "red Elf". What a great job he did!
Rumor has it that he will return next year. Thank you to the Moms who shared the
Chanukah traditions with our classes. Thank you to all of the helpers at our holiday parties-great
volunteering-that's what makes our events a success.
